Stopping Thought With The Third Eye Exercise
You may be wondering why you are the only person who
seems to have trouble meditating. Everyone appears to get along just
fine, stopping their minds, being at ease and going into a peaceful
state of trance. But whenever you try to meditate, your mind works even
faster than usual. I have just the technique for you!
This technique uses a major chakra known as the Third Eye chakra. The
Third Eye is located in the center of your forehead, between your
eyebrows. You may have an easier time focusing on the place between
your eyes or even in the center of your forehead - use whatever works
for you. Now when you direct your body awareness on this spot, you will
experience a tingling sensation. Do not fret if you do not get the
tingling sensation yet - you will in time. If you experience it that is
great. If not, you might try gently placing your finger tips in that
spot and concentrate on the sensation of your finger on your skin.
Once your focus, whether mental body focus or actual finger-touch
focus, is on your third eye, center on that feeling. If you get the
tingling sensation, center on it and allow it to grow. Breathe deeply,
slowly, and repeat. If you breathe deeply while centering on your third
eye, a remarkable thing happens. Your mind stops cold!
No wild thoughts, no self-conversations, and no reflecting, stressing,
or fretting can occur in this state. The longer you hold it, the more
of your stress and mental ramblings will vanish. At first you will have
impressions from these thoughts, but they are gone. Practice
maintaining this state for about 5 minutes a day for three or four
days. After that, transferring into the third-eye focus state will
become easy. Later it will become second nature.
When you achieve control of this state and can summon it instantly
whenever you would like to, start focusing on your wants. Begin by
focusing on the third eye, then simultaneously start thinking about or
speaking out loud the wants you would like to manifest. Your focus will
be undivided, as you will be utilizing the singular focus power of the
third eye meditation, and your yearnings will get 100% of your energy.
This trick is powerful for working with the Law of Attraction and
imaging techniques.
And before long, you will notice that you can return to this state
without even needing to focus on the area of your third eye. You will
be able to stop your mind whenever you want, since you will have become
familiar with the mental silence that is natural in third eye
meditation. Then you can meditate in any way that you would like,
without any worry of getting sucked into your normal mental ramblings.
